This is one of the movies I would most like to see on video or DVD.I live in Brazil and know several people who are anxiously awaiting for this.

Hm… If it ever comes out on DVD it will more likely than not be from the Criterion Collection – http://www.criterion.com/asp/ – so PRAY that they decide to release it!

Otherwise, I would try looking into good alternative theatres in your area that screen the old classic films (the neorealists, new-wave directors, etc) You might even be able to suggest Lo Straniero to them. The 35mm print definitely is floating around out there somewhere, so it’s just a matter of getting a hold of it.

Hope that gives you some ideas!
